Living in Cole Harbour

Cole Harbour is located on the eastern boundary of Dartmouth and is a 20- to 40-minute drive to downtown Halifax, depending on the traffic. There’s a wide range of shopping and dining choices in the community and in nearby Dartmouth. There are over a dozen schools in the area, as well as a public library. The community is also home to Cole Harbour Place, a popular recreational facility that combines a fitness and aquatic centre and a skating rink. There are lot of great opportunities for outdoor activities as well. It has many cycling, hiking and walking trails, including the popular Salt Marsh Trail, and quick access to several beaches along the Atlantic coast.
