THE CHILDREN’S MIRACLE NETWORK & THE IWK HEALTH CENTRE FOUNDATION

REMAX NOVA is proud to be a Miracle Office through the Children’s Miracle Network, supporting our local IWK Health Centre Foundation in Halifax. A portion of each property sold with one of our agents goes towards the Children’s Miracle Network which directly supports the IWK.

REMAX NOVA also hosts various fundraisers throughout the year to raise money towards our goals. This includes Annual Valentines Day Candy Grams, 50/50 fundraisers, Golf Tournaments, and more.

In 2024, REMAX NOVA Agents proudly raised $121,089.40 towards the IWK Health Centre Foundation.

In 2025 REMAX NOVA has a goal of raising $200,000 towards the IWK. This year, in June 2025 REMAX NOVA hosted its very first golf tournament and raised over $40,000. Read our blog for more info.

Our efforts to fundraise for the IWK is incredibly impactful since it will be directly helping with the construction of the new IWK Emergency Department. In 2024, Children and Youth from Atlantic Canada visited the current IWK Emergency Department 41,754 times. The new IWK Emergency Department will help families by having three triage rooms, 24 private examination rooms, dedicated x-ray room, two trauma/resuscitation rooms, improved spaces for mental health, and so much more. To work with the children's and women’s hospital is impactful for everyone here at REMAX NOVA. REMAX NOVA is also proud to be a direct contributor to one of the new triage rooms through their commitment to raise an additional $100,000 over the new four years. This new triage room will be the first stop for patients visiting the Emergency Department, making its completion a significant milestone for us.

BALLOON DAYS & FAMILY FUN DAY

The REMAX balloon is a staple to our identity as REMAX NOVA. Every summer when the REMAX hot air balloon visits Nova Scotia, we want to share the excitement and experience with the community. Alongside balloon days with free rides, we also host an annual FAMILY FUN DAY — a free event with bouncy castles, food, and activities.

REMAX NOVA & THE CANADIAN CANCER SOCIETY

At REMAX NOVA we have our Fundraising Avengers, a group of our agents dedicated to fundraising money for the Canadian Cancer Society. Our agents raised over $12,000 for their Dry January campaign.

REMAX NOVA & FEED NOVA SCOTIA

RE/MAX NOVA proudly supports Feed Nova Scotia each holiday season with our STUFF-A-BUS initiative. Our agents and team get together to donate items to help families during the holiday season.

We are honoured to foster a more inclusive community through initiatives such as Halifax Pride and Treat Accessibly, supporting accessibility for everyone. We also strengthen community ties through our affiliate program and local business support.
