Our Owners

Our brokerage is run by our three owners, Craig Snow, Nassim Klayme and Ryan Hartlen. Each owner’s reputation proceeds them as they lead their brokerage with expertise, immense knowledge and set the standard with their own transactions. Craig Snow

With over 40 years of experience in sales and marketing, Craig Snow has established himself as a leading force in the commercial, investment, and residential real estate sectors throughout Atlantic Canada. Boasting more than 25 years of dedicated service, Craig is renowned for his exceptional negotiation skills, earning accolades and multiple awards that celebrate his outstanding achievements in the industry. His expertise has solidified his reputation as one of the top negotiators in the Atlantic Region.

Consistently recognized for his stellar performance, Craig has ranked #1 in Atlantic Canada for commercial sales and has been named among the top 100 agents worldwide. In his earlier career, he was also a distinguished agent in residential sales, maintaining a position within the top 10. Notably, in 2024, Craig was honored with the Circle of Legends award, the highest recognition within the REMAX system, highlighting his remarkable contributions and success.

Craig’s commitment to his clients is grounded in the principles of trust, honesty, and kindness. As a dedicated leader, he fosters a supportive environment for his fellow agents, generously sharing his time and expertise to help them thrive. Through initiatives such as “The Hustle is Real” and “Commercial Knowledge Sessions,” Craig provides valuable insights that empower agents to elevate their careers and achieve their goals.

In addition to his professional endeavors, Craig is deeply committed to giving back to his community. He is recognized as one of Atlantic Canada’s top donors to the IWK Children’s Hospital, a cause that holds a special place in his heart. His philanthropic spirit extends to various local charities, underscoring his role as a cherished supporter within the community.

Nassim Klayme

Nassim Klayme is one of the most experienced real estate agents in HRM and has been in the industry since 2003. Born and raised in Nova Scotia, Nas is known for his dependability, experience, and complete follow through with his clients. Outside of real estate, Nas is an avid sports enthusiast and is quick to share his point of view on football, basketball and boxing.

As an owner, broker, leader and fellow realtor, Nas has become an undeniable resource for the agents in the brokerage to depend on. As the Dartmouth-Halifax regional director for NSAR board of directors, Nas works closely on decisions that shape the real estate industry in Nova Scotia. Aside from attending agent sessions and events, it is not uncommon to find Nas assisting a fellow REALTOR® in crafting a not-so-simple clause on an offer or counter-offer. He has a genuine understanding of what is important to people and has grown strong in his ability to lead and inspire.

Ryan Hartlen

Ryan Hartlen, a Nova Scotia native, has been a leading real estate professional in the province since 2004, earning his broker's license in 2010. As an owner and broker, he has supervised thousands of transactions spanning a wide range of properties, from residential and multi-unit to commercial and leasing. Ryan is passionate about the Nova Scotian outdoors and enjoys camping, canoeing, cycling, and backpacking to go along with a solid dose of beer league hockey.

Ryan has been dedicated to improving the real estate industry, having served on numerous committees covering technology, MLS, education, standard forms, and licensing. His leadership roles include serving as the Chair of the NSAR Broker Council and, most recently, as a Board Director for the Nova Scotia Real Estate Commission.

The combination of having owners at the top of the industry as well as the diversity in their experience, is the combination that builds the backbone of REMAX NOVA. Our agents know that the owners are accessible at any time and are always available to fully support any transaction, initiative or conversation. Aside from the office sessions and endless opportunities to chat with the owners, Nas, Craig and Ryan host a bi-weekly “Ask us Anything Session” for all their agents. A valuable time for our agents to ask any question and be guided by the owner’s expert advice.

Our Offices

At our brokerage we value opportunities to become more accessible to the communities in Nova Scotia. We have expanded our offices to five locations to better serve our agents and our clients. At each location there is always an agent on duty to better serve our clients, you can walk in at any time during office hours to talk with an agent directly! The agents on duty are also available for phone consultations or to answer any questions.

Our offices are equipped with meeting rooms, computers, gyms, kitchens and we have actively made steps towards creating a convenient office space that is accessible to all. All of our offices are wheelchair accessible.

Our offices are spaces that encourage collaboration, productivity, engagement and also a space for events for both agents and their clients. With BBQ’s, gardening days, lunches and more, we pride ourselves in the positive and productive atmosphere within all our offices. Our offices are the homes of all of our agents, allowing them to access them at anytime in the day. Even during power outages our office is run on a generator, always meaning there is a space to bring your family in need of shelter.

Our Online Presence

At REMAX NOVA we pride ourselves for continuously growing and enhancing our marketing to the changes within society and the digital space. Our online presence is prominent across all social media platforms with almost 10,000 followers combined, and over 7 million impressions in 2024 alone. We continuously aim to highlight our agents on our platform alongside REMAX NOVA’s contributions in real estate and in the community. Our website is one of the leading websites in Atlantic Canada with over 600,000 visitors in 2024 and 13.9 million search impressions. In 2025 these stats are expected to increase by 20%. Our marketing team is continuously looking for opportunities for growth for the brokerage and for the agents. With their extensive portfolio they make sure agents have access to all marketing assets, online and physical that would help them be successful in their own business. For REMAX NOVA our online presence is equally valuable as in-person because it allows for us to connect with the entire community without any limitations.
