I was raised in Sackville, Nova Scotia, and today I'm proud to call Beaver Bank home, where I'm raising my family. Having lived and worked in these communities for many years, I have a deep appreciation for the people, neighbourhoods, and lifestyle that make Nova Scotia such a wonderful place to call home.
Family means everything to me. My partner proudly serves in the Royal Canadian Navy aboard HMCS St. John's, and together we're raising our three amazing children, Isaiah, Gabriel, and Summer. Our home is also filled with love from our two furry family members, a sweet cat and our cuddly Leonberger puppy.
My entrepreneurial journey began in 2001, just before I started at Saint Mary's University, when I opened a small farm stand in Fall River. After graduating, I purchased a one acre property near the Fall River roundabout and opened a year round farm market. I also purchased 45 acres of farmland in Sheffield Mills, where I grew fresh fruits and vegetables to supply my market, while investing in a residential rental property in Sackville.
Spending more than 20 years as a farmer and business owner taught me the value of hard work, perseverance, honesty, and building lasting relationships. Those experiences shaped who I am today and inspired me to begin an exciting new chapter in real estate.
